When?
21/10/2024 between 9:00 and 11:00 in B2319 (building B, Zikova 4, Prague 6).
For whom is it intended?
Early career researchers, post-doctoral researchers, academics, data stewards, project administrators and everyone in need of guidance on data stewardship, research data management and data management plans is welcome to join and share a piece of their mind and a piece of cake in a friendly and casual manner.
What is this breakfast about and why should I join?
Many grant providers require Data Management Plan (DMP) as part of an overall Research Data Management (RDM) policy. While these plans are often seen as a necessary bureaucratic evil, they can have a positive impact on the project by asking questions which might otherwise not come across one’s mind. During this breakfast we’ll discuss why, when and how you should set up your DMP. So if you are currently solving or thinking about applying for grants, stop by. Tea and coffee will be provided, but anyone is free to bring their own breakfast with them and practice “sharing”.
Do you have any questions?
Do you have any questions regarding research data management or open science which you would like to discuss? Come meet us at this or any of the breakfasts to follow! You can also reach your data stewards via email at researchdata@vscht.cz or you can use this form, which you can fill out anonymously. Don't hesitate to share your inquiries with us and we will get back to you in one of the next breakfasts, or in your email, if you prefer to give us one. In case you want to book a private consultation with any of us, please, fill in this booking form.
