The workshop will combine both theoretical and practical aspects of the basics of graphic design. The lesson plan will include an introduction to basic concepts and important elements, essential technical information, and an introduction to color modes and typography. You will learn tips for external graphic platforms that will help you streamline the process, and throughout the mini-course, we will also encounter the so-called DOs & DON'Ts of the graphic world.
The main, practical part of the workshop will then focus on Affinity software. We will discuss the basic tools combining work with fonts, typesetting, and images.
Affinity software has been completely free since last year. You can install it and check it out at https://www.affinity.studio/download before the course.
(The software will also be installed on the computers in the classroom).
By registering, you commit to participating in both workshops (March 24 and April 7), which are directly connected.
