Career coaching can help you clarify the best way to build your study and/or career path. With the help of professional counsellors, you will find out what type of assignments fulfils you, what you are personally suited to, what your strengths or talents are or any specific areas for development. In this type of meeting, you and the counsellor go more in-depth based on the questions you ask, so it's possible that you may come across questions you may not have asked yourself, and the meeting will help you identify your short and long-term career goals. Duration: 55 min.

Career consultation addresses a more specific topic - revising your CV and cover letter, deciding between specific job offers, preparing for a job interview, presenting your own strengths and experience, thinking about salary and how to ask for it, preparing for an Assessment Centre or an interview in Czech/English. Duration: 25 min.

Dear "soon to be" engineers,

we invite you to a barbecue chill-out party for new engineers and their fans - the First Engineering Party.

Bring a boyfriend/girlfriend, spouse, friends, mom or grandma and come celebrate your shiny new title!

For this year's engineers, there will be a burger from Kaiser Franz with jerk meat or a vegetarian version, a free Lachout school beer and a free toast. Refreshments will be provided by the vector tap Clubhouse bar. For the engineers we have prepared chemical tattoos, graduation pancakes and other surprises. At the event, you will be able to sign up for the Alumni Club, which offers exciting benefits and regular contact with your alma mater.

This year, the first engineering one will be held at the Vector in front of the B building of the University of Science and Technology on two dates - Thursday, June 6 and Wednesday, June 13 at 2:00 pm.

We will start at the bus No.131 U Matěje station and we'll pass the functionalist villas of famous people built in the 1930s. Our guide Martin will tell us interesting facts about the history of the First Republic of Czechoslovakia and the owners of these villas. The walk will take us to a beautiful lookout point at the ruins of Baba, where we can enjoy a beautiful view of Prague, the Vltava River, Císařský Island with the sewage treatment plant, Troja with the Prague ZOO and the housing estate on the other side of the river. ·   

Yoga classes are held every Thursday from 5 to 6 p.m. in Uhelna. The classes are held in English language and are free of charge. The classes are under the guidance of Stephanie Campeggi. You need to bring your own mat. Yoga lessons are provided by the student association UNI-ART.
