Applications Open: Miroslav Vlček Extraordinary Scholarship

The applications for Miroslav Vlček Extraordinary Scholarship for Contribution to the Internationalization of UCT Prague are open from today until November 11, 2023.

The Miroslav Vlček Extraordinary Scholarship is a form of honoring the memory of the professor Miroslav Vlček – the spiritual father of the idea and the coordinator of the Study in Prague consortium (2015–2019), which brought together seven Prague public universities and attracted hundreds of foreign students to study in Prague. The Miroslav Vlček Extraordinary Scholarship aims to contribute to the higher internationalization of the university environment of public universities in Prague by increasing the number of foreign students studying in foreign language study programs.

15:30 - 16:30	Relaxation (ENG) – Holešovice
	This event is held in English language. Relax and study? They go hand in hand! Try a relaxation lesson right at school and learn how to work effectively with stress. Releasing accumulated tension and letting your brain and body relax on a regular basis is key to effective studying and integration of acquired knowledge. Relaxation is the ideal opportunity to refresh yourself for your next work. How will it work? In a small group, you will try out different types of relaxation, mindfulness or imagery. You will be sitting or lying on blankets, so comfortable clothes are recommended (not the best way to relax in tight jeans or a short skirt). Come regularly! Relaxing regularly can help with improving your attention and reducing anxiety. The Tuesday appointment once every 14 days, always at 3pm, is particularly good for this. But of course you can choose any available dates that suit you.

	It’s a pleasure to invite you to the board games event at UCT! This time again in respirium in B building. Are you a fan of card/board games? Now you have an excellent opportunity to play multiple of them with your colleagues, classmates and friends. How does it work? Just come to the respirium where you can choose from lot of games with language independent gameplay or with English rules. Members of our club will be there to help you with choosing a game for you. If we know the rules, we will even explain it for you. Bring your friends, we are public event, so they don't even need to be from school!
