Conflicts are a natural part of studying, research, and teamwork. Differing opinions, unclear expectations, time pressure, or different communication styles can easily lead to misunderstandings. What matters, however, is not whether a conflict arises, but how we manage it.
In this workshop, you’ll learn how conflict develops, why people tend to react defensively or aggressively in challenging situations, and how simple mediation techniques can foster mutual understanding and help find a common solution.
This workshop is a natural follow-up to the workshop “Reaching an Agreement Doesn’t Have to Be a Science,” though participation in that workshop is not a prerequisite. It will be beneficial for both those who have completed the previous workshop and those encountering the topic for the first time.
