A guest from ENS Lyon will deliver a talk about her opinions and visions about porous liquids. In the professional community, Margarida is nick-named as the queen of thermodynamics of ionic liquids. She is currently working on the design of new mesoscopic materials that can simultaneously maintain fluidity and a high degree of permanent porosity. She aims at applications of separation, storage and catalytic conversion of fluids with impacts on modern chemical production and energy storage.
