Did you work part-time in 2025 and did your employer deduct income tax? If you did not sign a taxpayer's declaration ("pink paper") with your employer or if you had more than one part-time job, you are often entitled to a tax refund. At our workshop "How to deal with income tax?", we will help you easily file your tax return in the state's electronic system.
(If you signed a taxpayer's declaration with your employer, the tax was usually already taken into account in your paycheck. However, if you had another part-time job with tax deductions, you can still apply for a refund.)
How to proceed:
- By February 15, 2026, request one of these forms from your employer:
- Confirmation of taxable income from dependent activity
- Confirmation of income taxed by withholding tax
Your employer will know which one you need.
You should come if:
- you worked for more than one employer, or
- you had other income (e.g., business, fees, rent, capital gains, occasional earnings—i.e., income under Sections 7 to 10 of the Income Tax Act).
In that case, you must file your tax return yourself, and we will show you how to do it at the workshop.
What to bring with you:
- your own computer — have your taxable income statements from your employers saved on it, as well as any statements of other income or donations you have made (e.g., blood donations). You will also need your birth number and bank account number.
