Once you’ve gotten your bearings a bit in college, it’s a good idea to start taking your first steps toward your future career. If you put all of this off until you’re about to graduate, you’ll likely find that your better-prepared classmates have gotten ahead of you. Or you might realize—quite late—that you’re missing something essential to land your dream job. Employers are no longer interested just in a degree, but also in practical experience.

We’ll discuss how to think about your future career, how to choose a field of study or an environment where you’ll thrive, and how to gradually lay a solid foundation for a successful transition into the workforce. We’ll also discuss part-time jobs during your studies and what’s most likely to impress a future employer in your resume or during an interview. This program is primarily for second- and third-year students.
