We would like to invite you to a series of lectures by academics from our partner universities, taking place on Thursday, 24 September, in meeting room B2319.

The morning session, starting at 10am, will feature the following research lectures:

• 10am – Leonidas Matsakas: Integrated organosolv biorefineries: from lignocellulosic biomass to value-added products
• approximately 11am – Katerina Papadaki: Bioeconomy approaches for the development of sustainable food systems
• approximately 12pm – Heiko Lange: Lignin valorization: structure as guiding element.

During the afternoon session, starting at 2pm, the speakers will introduce their universities from a broader perspective and present opportunities for potential collaboration:

• Associate Professor Dr rer nat Heiko Lange – Università degli Studi di Milano-Bicocca, DISAT – Dipartimento di Scienze dell’Ambiente e della Terra
