Kind: Poradenské a kariérní centrum
Event type: Workshop
Lecturer: Ing. Vojtěch Lambl

Description:

What opportunities does a technical education offer graduates who decide to pursue careers outside traditional technical fields? And how can the knowledge gained while studying at the University of Chemistry and Technology, Prague (VŠCHT) contribute to success in the fields of public affairs, regulatory relations, or lobbying?

A meeting with UCTP graduate Vojtěch Lambl will feature an open discussion on how a technical education can serve as a solid foundation even in professions that, at first glance, seem far removed from laboratories, production facilities, or research centers. The speaker will present his own career path from a technical field to the realm of public affairs and explain what it’s like in practice to work at the intersection of industry, regulation, communication, and public administration.

The goal of the event is to show students that technical thinking, analytical skills, and an understanding of the industrial environment can be a significant advantage even in fields focused on strategic communication, regulatory affairs, and advocating for technical issues. The program will take the form of a dialogue and will allow time for questions, sharing experiences, and practical insights.
